Reka Vago Full Social Media takeover

Walking Alongside Réka Vágó

Some brands you help shape. Others have already shaped themselves, and the honour is simply being asked to walk alongside them for a while.

Réka Vágó has been one of Hungary's most established shoe brands for years, the kind of name that doesn't need an introduction in its own market. So when a longer, project-based collaboration began with them, it felt different from the start: less about building a voice from scratch, more about sharpening one that already had decades of trust behind it.

The work stretched further than social media alone, which is rare and, frankly, a privilege. Alongside shaping the brand's visual image and online presence, the collaboration grew to include conversations about product development itself: what a shoe says before anyone tries it on, how craftsmanship translates into image, where heritage and current taste should meet. Few collaborations let an outside eye sit that close to the product. This one did, and it changed the scope of what creative direction could mean here.

Over the length of the project, the relationship moved at its own pace: thoughtful, a little slower than a typical social takeover, built more on dialogue than on a fixed campaign calendar.

Every new direction, whether in a photoshoot, a caption style, or a conversation about an upcoming collection, was weighed against a brand that already knew exactly who it was. The task was never to reinvent Réka Vágó. It was to help its established identity feel just as alive in a feed as it has always felt on a shelf.

Working with a brand this established, for this long, on more than just the surface of its communication, is the kind of collaboration that stays with you. Not every project gets to leave a mark this close to the product itself.
